The official opening of the tournament took place on Thursday, August 7, at the WERK ARENA restaurant, where the teams were drawn into two groups. The WERK ARENA group includes Rögle, Riga, Třinec, Bratislava and Karlovy Vary. The Mini WERK ARENA group features Praha, Vítkovice, Salzburg, Hradec Králové and Davos.
The tournament´s Friday program will kick off with a match between Riga and Slovan Bratislava. The opening faceoff in WERK ARENA is scheduled for 8:00 AM.
