In the evening match, Riga secured a place in the finals of this year's President Cup. Riga already laid the foundation for a big win over Sparta in the first period, when after twenty minutes they chased Tvrzník out of the sanctuary after five goals, who was replaced by Kogler. But even the second Spartan goalkeeper could not stop Riga's offensive whirlwind. Riga scored 4 more goals by the end of the match.
