The even score played on the nervous system of the players, and when the unprecedented emphasis of the Ukrainian representatives was added to that, a dense atmosphere reigned on the ice.

The representatives of Ukraine entered the second act better. After 139 seconds from the whistle, Oleksij Jevtiechov once again delighted the Ukrainian team with a precise end to a separate escape. Joy and then sadness reigned among the Ukrainians in the 39th minute, when the puck ended up in the net after a jam in front of the Vítkovic goal - but the referee decided not to recognize it as a violation of the rules.
